The EHA2025 Congress has officially begun, and we are happy to be part of it!

Flow cytometry plays a crucial role in the diagnosis and evaluation of primary immunodeficiencies (PIDs). It's a rapid and sensitive tool that can identify specific cell populations and subpopulations, assess cell surface and intracellular proteins. While genetic analysis provides the definitive diagnosis, flow cytometry offers a cost-effective and timely approach to evaluate patients with suspected PIDs. Recently EuroFlow organized an advanced course on PIDs. Experts from all over the world came together in Ghent, Belgium to get in-depth information about the standardized EuroFlow approach which can be used in diagnosing these complex diseases. With lectures by some of the most well-known EuroFlow experts in the field, case studies, a network event and a fun little knowledge quiz to top it all off, the participants experienced a great educational event organized by the EuroFlow Campus.

We are proud to announce the latest publication by Carlos Pedreira, titled:
“Comparison between five pattern-based approaches for automated diagnostic classification of mature/peripheral B-cell neoplasms based on standardized EuroFlow flow cytometry immunophenotypic data.”

This morning, our EuroFlow member Sebastian Böttcher from the University of Rostock opened the 3rd German EuroFlow Educational Workshop. We are happy that, on this sunny day at the Baltic Sea, we can share our achievements with all enthusiastic participants.

The EuroFlow PID course is an advanced course for the analysis of primary immunodeficiencies (PID). It is designed for participants with a strong background in clinical flow cytometry, ample knowledge of immunology and experience with diagnosing immunodeficiencies. It will take place on June 2nd and 3rd, and is organized in cooperation with the University Hospital of Ghent, Belgium. The course focuses on the application of flow cytometry in the diagnosis and classification of Primary Immunodeficiencies (PID. It offers in-depth training on the analysis and interpretation of standardized flow cytometry data in the context of PID.
